Draft
This is placeholder copy, not legal advice. Final wording will be reviewed by counsel before launch.
What we store
Your email and password (hashed by Supabase Auth), a display name and country if you share them, your purchase claim details (Amazon order ID + a verification selfie), photos of pages you've coloured, your referral code, and your points ledger. We also record anonymous page-view counts to understand which pages are useful.
What we do with it
Verify purchases, award points, run the weekly draw, and process payouts. That's it. We don't sell data and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.
Who can see it
Only you and our admin/manager team. Your display name and country may appear on the public Hall of Winners if you win a draw.
Cookies & affiliate links
One small browser-storage value identifies your sign-in session, and one anonymous local-storage value gives us a per-browser session id for page-view counts. No tracking cookies, no ads. When you click an Amazon "Buy" button on a book detail page, you're sent to amzn.to (Amazon's own short-link service); Amazon may set its own cookies on its domain to attribute the visit to AAM Pixel as an Amazon Associate. We never see those cookies and we never use affiliate clicks to award sweepstakes entries or referral rewards — see our affiliate disclosure.
Sweepstakes entry data
If you enter our Reader Sweepstakes, we collect only what's needed to administer it (email; for mail-in entrants, name, address, phone, and date of birth as required by the official rules). We never sell this data and use it only to draw, notify, and pay winners.
Your rights
You can ask us to export or delete your account at any time — email our team and we'll get back within 14 days.
Children
AAM Pixel isn't intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll let you know via email.
