Affiliate disclosure & FAQ.
AAM Pixel is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, AAM Pixel earns from qualifying purchases made through the affiliate links on our book detail pages. We use plain (non-affiliate) Amazon links everywhere reward, prize, or sweepstakes incentives are involved.
Frequently asked
What is the Amazon Associates disclosure?+
AAM Pixel is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, AAM Pixel earns from qualifying purchases. This applies to product links on our book detail pages.
Which links on this site are affiliate links?+
Only the 'Buy on Amazon' buttons on our book detail pages (Mandala Tranquility and Stress Relief) use Amazon Associates affiliate links (amzn.to). Every page that contains those links shows the disclosure clearly. The Reader Rewards, Sweepstakes, Mission, and Coupon pages link to plain Amazon URLs — never affiliate links.
Does it cost me anything if I click an affiliate link?+
No. The price on Amazon is exactly the same whether you arrive via our affiliate link or directly. Amazon pays us a small commission out of their margin — it never adds anything to your price.
Why don't you use affiliate links on the Rewards or Sweepstakes pages?+
Amazon's Associates Operating Agreement prohibits offering any incentive — cash, points, prizes, sweepstakes entries, charitable donations conditional on purchase, or anything similar — in exchange for someone clicking an affiliate link or buying through it. Because our Reader Rewards program and Sweepstakes do offer rewards, we keep them completely separate from affiliate links to stay compliant.
What counts as a 'qualifying purchase'?+
A qualifying purchase is one made on Amazon by a real third party (not you, not your immediate family, not anyone you have paid or incentivized) within 24 hours of clicking one of our affiliate links and added to their cart in that session. Amazon determines what qualifies and pays the commission directly to AAM Pixel.
What must I (the visitor) NOT do?+
Please do not (1) click an affiliate link and then buy your own purchase 'for the commission' — Amazon classifies this as self-referral and bans it; (2) ask friends or family to buy through your dashboard link in exchange for a kickback or share of rewards; (3) post our affiliate links in email, SMS, paid ads, or PDFs — Amazon only allows them on approved websites and apps; (4) misrepresent the link as anything other than an Amazon link.
Can I share my Reader Rewards referral link?+
Yes — your Reader Rewards link is NOT an Amazon affiliate link. It tracks invitations to AAM Pixel itself, and rewards are paid by us out of our own budget. You can share it on social media, blogs, your own website, or by direct message. You may not, however, claim Amazon endorses it or imply Amazon is paying the rewards.
How do I know AAM Pixel is following these rules?+
Every page with an affiliate buy button shows the Amazon Associates disclosure (in the footer and inline near the button). Reward and sweepstakes pages explicitly link to plain (non-affiliate) Amazon URLs. Sweepstakes entry is free for everyone via email signup or mail-in postcard — purchase never increases your odds. We publish this policy openly so you can audit it.
Where can I report a concern?+
Email us via the Contact page. If you believe a link, page, or message on this site violates the Amazon Associates policy or FTC endorsement guides, tell us and we will review and correct it.
